François Loviton: Carrefour takes orders by “OK Google”
François Loviton the Retail Director at Google since 2015, announced a voice-driven retail partnership (Voice Commerce) with Carrefour. This world-first was announced via Twitter instead of Google. By pronouncing the magic phrase, “OK Google”, the retail customer orders groceries by vocal command. Loviton explained this as “One more step in the #TransfoNum of @GroupeCarrefour”. Is this partnership due to established business with Carrefour, as Loviton held various positions there between 2009 and 2013, including Marketing and Strategic e-commerce Director?
