JD.com bets on experiential for brick-and-mortar
The Beijing-based online retailer JD.com (revenues of US$18.9 billion in Q3 2019, up by 28.7%) unveiled a huge 50,000 sq.m. store located in Chongqing, China. Opened on 11th November, known as “Singles’ Day”, this new superstore welcomed more than 30,000 customers who spent US$1.5 million in just one day.
