Sephora recruits an ace of customer experience as General Manager

Sales and profits tripled in the last 10 years under Chris De Lapuente as Sephora’s Managing Director. He is succeeded by Martin Brok, former President Europe, Middle East and Africa at Starbucks. He will work under the authority of Jean-André Rougeot C.E.O. of Sephora (2,600 shops in 36 countries). Chris De Lapuente remains a member of LVMH’s Executive Committee and will soon take up a new position. Brok is a multilingual manager with five languages, and trained in the U.S.A. He was welcomed by Bernard Arnault, C.E.O. of LVMH (€18.4 billion in sales at 30 June 2020, a fall of 27% on a comparable exchange rate basis), Sephora’s parent company.
