Mall of the Netherlands, The Mall of The Month

Located within the Randstad, economic centre of the Netherlands gathering Utrecht, Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam i.e. 8.2 million inhabitants, The Mall of The Netherlands is due to fully open in the first half 2020. Its size and positioning will make it a premiere for the country. Housing 280 stores and covering a 117,000 sq.m GLA, this mall targets a traffic between 12 and 14 million visitors / year. Developed by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (assets’ value of €65.2 billion in 2018), it will house two supermarkets of 4,000 sq.m GLA (under the banners Jumbo Food Market and Albert Heijn), a “Fresh” food market of 2,500 sq.m, similar to the Barcelona unit (fruits and vegetables, a butcher, a cheese store, a wine store, etc.), a “Dining Experience” area housing 20 innovative food & beverage tenants (O’Leary’s from Sweden, Wagamama from the U.S., Vapiano from Germany…), and a parking with 4,000 free spaces (in the Netherlands, parking is generally a paying service).
