Electro Man, The Concept of The Month

In Seoul, we visited the Electro Mart store in the Starfield Hanam Mall. Electro Mart is part of E-mart, South Korea’s largest diversified retailer (US$15.5 billion revenue in 2018, a rise of 9.9%, a Shinsegae subsidiary). The firm has been deeply restructuring to adapt to the fast-changing retail environment. As part of ambitions to be visible for all customer touch points, it transformed its electronic chain Electro Mart via the slogan “Playground For Men”. It offers a wide range of gadgetries, figurines, camping equipment and electronic home appliances with Samsung and Xiaomi shop-in-shops, but aims to offer a unique experience to customers.
