In the U.S.A., retail property owners Brookfield Asset Management and Simon Property Group have invested in the company Creating Culinary Communities, which specialises in “ghost kitchens”. CCC creates and rolls out shared kitchens that host food preparation for multiple restaurants under one roof, and primarily offers takeout or delivery.
