UK. Tesco partners with Gorillas for 10-minute deliveries
On October 28, Gorillas and Tesco announced a partnership to enter the quick commerce market. The promise? Deliver products in 10 minutes through dark-stores within Tesco supermarkets.
In the UK, Tesco (turnover of €59.4 billion in 2020) is partnering with the German Gorillas, a pioneer in ultra-fast delivery. The two companies will open five “dark stores” in Tesco hypermarkets, offering a 10-minute delivery for over 2,000 items.
