On July 11, 2021, the Seattle-based department store chain Nordstrom took a minority stake in the British and profitable pure-player Asos, who also owns the brands Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge and HIIT. The details of the financial transaction (amount invested, percentage of ownership) were not public.
