Mango Upside Down Teen Pop Up, The Concept of the Month
Will the TikTok podium become a must in retail merchandising? This is the vision of the Spanish retailer Mango in a new pop-up store for teenagers based in Barcelona. Magda Espuga, CEO of the consulting company Kiss Retail, shares her analysis.
Called “Upside Down teen pop-up”, it opened in Barcelona, on Rambla Catalunya, 76. The grand opening took place on April 26 and will be open for two months. The store includes a podium for choreographing or taking selfies, floor-to-ceiling candy-pink decoration, plenty of electrical sockets for recharging a smartphone and free stickers.
